October 12 (Sat.) & 13 (Sun.) Exhibition “Everybody’s Brain World 2024 – Super Diversified” will be held!

9/12/24

B Lab (Director: Nanako Ishido) will hold the exhibition “Everyone’s Brain World 2024 – Super Diverse” on October 12 (Sat.) and 13 (Sun.), 2024, as part of the Neurodiversity Project activities.
The human brain and nervous system are so diverse that we all have unique characteristics. This is called “neurodiversity. Through more than 40 experiences, this exhibit will convey the message that by respecting individual characteristics and creating the appropriate environment, we can eliminate “difficulties in life” and transform individual characteristics into “strengths. This project transcends organizational boundaries and is being promoted together with universities, companies, research institutes, and organizations. Through the exhibition, we will communicate that it is possible to realize a neuro-diverse society in which all people can demonstrate their strengths, with the aim of building a neuro-diverse society.
We are also accepting applications for exhibitors at Brain World 2024 for Everyone – Super Diversity.

About the Neurodiversity Project

B Lab launched the Neurodiversity Project last year with the aim of building a society in which each individual can demonstrate their own “power” in their own place, and is working with more than 30 companies, universities, and organizations.
There are many people in society who have difficulty in living. There are many people who are unable to get along with others, who are unable to deal with society, who have no place to belong, and who are suffering.
And when they are unable to fully demonstrate their “power” and face difficulties in various situations, they are often perceived as if their “personal characteristics” are the problem.

Our brains are very diverse. We all have unique characteristics. This is called neurodiversity. This unique set of characteristics makes it difficult for some people to live in today’s society. However, we believe that the “difficulty in living” that people have is caused by the interaction between individual characteristics and the environment. By respecting individual characteristics and creating an appropriate environment, what was once considered a “weakness” or “hard to live with” can be transformed into a “strength” or “easy to live with.

B Lab Overview

B Lab”, which stands for “Beyond, Borderless, Breakthrough”, is a participatory platform that connects universities, research institutes, regions, and human resources around the world, and fuses the expertise and knowledge of many people to create new technologies, services, contents, businesses, and society. It is a participatory platform that creates new technologies, services, contents, businesses, and society. The scope is broad, including technology development, solving social issues, and creating new services, but the common denominator is social implementation, which means creating together. Fathers, mothers, grandmothers, and children are all researchers.
Fathers, mothers, grandmothers, and children are all researchers; they become Lifelong Seekers and have a second researcher business card.

We aim to build a new society by connecting all people, including users, in a social, open, and participatory manner, matching issues, ideas, technology, money, skills, and people to create an interesting future together, from small to large creations.
