About Neurodiversity Awards
The 1st Neurodiversity Awards will be held with the aim of promoting understanding of neurodiversity and building a society in which each individual can demonstrate their own “power” in their own place. The spread of neurodiversity can draw out new creativity and lead to the development of society as a whole. Through this award, we aim to celebrate technologies, products, and social actions that have already made significant achievements, to further deepen understanding of neurodiversity, and to pave a new way to promote diversity and inclusiveness in society.
We welcome applications from a wide range of participants, including students, researchers, and companies.

About the Neurodiversity Project
There are many people in society who have “difficulty in living”.
They are unable to get along with others, unable to come to terms with society in any way, and suffer from a lack of a place to belong. And when they face difficulties in various situations, they are often perceived as if their personal characteristics are the problem.
However, it has become clear that the diversity of the brain is behind this.
Our brains are very diverse. We all have unique characteristics.
This is called neurodiversity. This unique set of characteristics makes it difficult for many people to live in today’s society.
We believe that by respecting individual characteristics and creating an appropriate environment, what was once considered a “weakness” or “hard to live with” can be turned into a “strength” or “easy to live with. Our goal is to promote understanding of neurodiversity and to build a society in which each individual can demonstrate his or her own “power” in his or her own place.
